Suckerpunch is an experimental zero-proof bar in Portland, Oregon.

As we work on plans for our permanent location, we're inviting guests to our pop-up "speakeasy" at the Goat Blocks, to sample our growing menu of unique zero-proof cocktails, and to share your thoughts on what a dedicated alcohol-free bar should look like.

No more set prix-fixe menu or timed seatings, we're now open for regular walk-in service Thursday—Sunday, 6pm—10pm.

All guests are required to show valid proof of vaccination (at least two shots) with matching ID on arrival. If you are unable to show proof of vaccination, or your proof of vaccination is fraudulent, your reservation will be canceled and we will be unable to seat you.

Staff are also required to be fully vaccinated and wear an N95 mask during service. Our speakeasy location is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after each service. We also open our roll doors and ventilate the bar for 30 minutes before service.

We are committed to making Suckerpunch a safe and welcoming space for everyone, centering those who are sober and in recovery, and gratefully serving anyone curious to share an alcohol-free experience.

Can I just come in for one drink?

Yes! We are now open for regular walk-in service Thursday—Sunday, 6pm—10pm. Reservations are still recommended, especially for larger parties.

Do you serve food?

Our speakeasy is in a former cross-fit gym and does not have a kitchen. We serve a small selection of bar snacks and desserts, but if you’re looking for something more substantial, we recommend dining with our neighbors at Kachka, Afuri, or Hat Yai.

Do you have outdoor seating?

Soon! Our outdoor patio will open in June.

Can I make a reservation for a large group?

Absolutely. If you would like to make a reservation for 6 or more, or if you'd like to speak with us about renting Suckerpunch for a private event, please get in touch: [email protected]

What's your age policy?

Suckerpunch is currently open to guests aged 18 or older. Although we don't serve alcohol and obviously don't hold a liquor license, Suckerpunch is still a bar and is intended as a social space for adults.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or because you're unable to show valid proof of vaccination, will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee per guest.

Is there parking at the Goat Blocks?

Yes, the Goat Blocks offers complimentary on-site parking, accessible from SE 10th & Yamhill. We very much encourage you to walk, bike, or take public transit to Suckerpunch if you are able.

Is your venue accessible via wheelchair / mobility device?

Yes! The Goat Blocks Market Walk is accessible by elevator at the corner of SE 10th & Belmont. Our speakeasy has ramp access, accessible countertop seating, and an accessible restroom.

I have an opinion about your COVID policy. Should I call or email you?

No, thank you.
